The calculator can be used to work out cost and emission savings on any number of vehicles over any period of time. So it doesn't matter if you.re entering details of one van or ten vans, as long as the total mileage represents all of the vehicles and the fuel consumed is applicable to the level of mileage. Simply make sure that the total mileage and the fuel consumption cover the same period of time.

Firstly, select the appropriate vehicle type. Then enter the mileage clocked up over a set period of time - this could be Weekly, Monthly, Annually etc. followed by the volume of fuel used to complete those miles (the fuel consumption). Finally enter the average cost of the fuel you've bought.
